Dermatitis and Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease. It can cause skin cells to grow so quickly that they accumulate on the surface of the skin. Patches of rough, scaly skin can appear anywhere on the body, including the scalp. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that can cause rough, scaly skin on the scalp and face. Psoriasis plaques are itchy like seborrheic dermatitis, but they can also be painful. About one-third of people with psoriasis get a form of arthritis as the disease gets worse. The scales on psoriasis plaques are thicker than those of seborrheic dermatitis, with more defined edges
